Electronic / Mechaincal Assembly (Charlotte, NC)
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
CORE REQUIREMENTS::.
Hand Soldering (A solder test will be administered to all applicants that are called in for an interview)
Operate various hand tools and assembly machines.
Perform repetitive task on assembly line.
Follow written instructions from formal procedures.
Be able to stand and lift or move materials usually not in excess of 30 pounds.
Fill out paperwork associated with assigned work task.
Skills that are a plus but not required:
SMT board repair
Component level testing and trouble shooting
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to speak, read and understand English
Must be willing to work occasional overtime
Compensation: Starting $9.00 to $11.00 per hour
